What makes utopia?

A Honda in the garage, perhaps a Toyota or a BMW; cable TV with all the sports channels, video on demand, movies and all the big blockbusters at your fingertips, the loudest or the sweetest music, a personal computer with the latest version of the Internet Explorer, gambling anytime at an online casino, dating the most beautiful women and sending them the best and most expensive flowers. Would this be one man's idea of Utopia? Could this be for everyone? Utopia must be for the general majority and not just for some select few,

Is it desirable to have only the best of the best and the cream of the crop? Would everyone having the best cars like Honda and Porsche not make the ownership of these cars merely ordinary? Wouldn't pressure be exerted to make even more expensive and classy cars? Music is freely available so with movies and video. With six billion people in the planet, it would not be so difficult to find a date if one is not so picky or obnoxious. Arriving at a girl's doorstep with a bunch of flowers would go a long way towards making a guy kinda likeable and cover whatever imperfections there might be, Is online casino a desirable thing? Men have a taste for gambling and taking chances but statistics show that very few succeed in gambling. Still, the hunger is there as evidenced by the proliferation of online casinos.

Sports has always been the traditional equalizer. One doesn't have to be rich or come from a privileged background to excel in sports. In fact, a talent in any of the sports is often a sure ticket to raising one's status and earnings. Muhammad Ali parlayed a gift of Jab coupled with a gift of Gab into a status so legendary very few can challenge or surpass. The amount of money a talented athlete can earn in his lifetime is staggering.
